AgiSight Data Lake

In the Agisight supply chain data lake, the landing zone, storage zone, and unified data model serve distinct but interconnected functions in managing and utilizing data efficiently. Interact with the graphic below to learn more about each specific zone:

UDM Overview

Unified Labor

Agillitics unified data model plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive labor metrics, especially in scenarios where employees engage with multiple systems throughout their workday, such as a warehouse associate who alternates between picking orders on an RF Device via the warehouse management system and using an Autostore UI through the Autostore system. By integrating data from these disparate systems into the unified model, businesses gain holistic insights into employee productivity, efficiency, and performance. This integration enables seamless tracking of key metrics like order fulfillment rates, time spent on various tasks, error rates, and overall throughput. This allows decision-makers to accurately assess labor utilization, identify bottlenecks, and implement targeted improvements to optimize operations across different platforms.

Unified Logistics

Agillitics unified data model plays a crucial role in providing end-to-end visibility across complex supply chain processes, exemplified by the journey of a purchase order. From its initiation in an ERP system to its delivery to the customer, each step involves different systems and processes. Our unified data model ensures seamless integration and communication between these disparate systems, enabling real-time tracking and monitoring of the purchase order's status at every stage. For instance, as the order moves from the ERP to shipping through a carrier transportation system, then to the warehouse via a freight carrier system, and further through warehouse operations such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, the unified data model aggregates and organizes relevant information, offering stakeholders comprehensive visibility into the order's progress. This visibility allows for timely decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and ultimately enhances customer satisfaction through accurate delivery timelines and proactive issue resolution.

Unified Network

Agillitics unified data model plays a pivotal role in enabling network-level visibility, especially in scenarios like that of a retailer operating multiple warehouses with disparate database instances and varying warehouse management systems (WMS). For instance, consider a retailer with five warehouses, each running its own database instance and utilizing two different WMS systems. In such a complex setup, our unified data model acts as the linchpin, harmonizing disparate data structures and schemas into a cohesive framework. By integrating data from all warehouses and standardizing metrics such as units per hour (UPH), costs, and inventory, retailers gain a holistic view of its operations across the network. This allows for seamless comparison and analysis, facilitating informed decision-making, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing overall efficiency. Without our unified data model, the retailer would struggle with siloed information, inconsistent metrics, and inefficiencies in data aggregation, hindering its ability to effectively manage and optimize its warehousing operations.
